You want to move forward with your day or a project or your dreams, but you’re either frozen with inertia, or you’re avoiding the chaos with distraction or numbing.

Sadly, the way we want to deal with anxiety (avoid, freeze, dismiss) only makes things worse. But how to learn how to recognize, name, accept and move through the anxiety?

Together we’ll hold your anxiety to help you feel better. Using polyvagal theory we can unpack the triggers and beliefs surrounding your anxiety. We will learn how you experience the 3 states of your nervous system and how you interpret your environment (internally and externally) for threat or safety. Using this approach you can learn about your responses, how your behaviors are either regulating or disregulating your nervous system, and how to use that awareness toward building a deep feeling of safety and ease with yourself.
