A little change goes a long way,
and change has already started with the step you’re taking now.
You’re feeling lost, alone, insecure. And these are feelings you don’t know how to be with.
You’re in a pattern with relationships, food, or yourself that you want to shake but keeps returning.
You’re feeling shutdown or stuck and you can’t move beyond it.
You’re using food to numb or control but your eating is only creating chaos.
You’re feeling insufferable anxiety that hallmarks a need for more support.
Maybe therapy’s been really helpful for you in the past. You’ve learned about yourself and you’re ready to grow further or dig into something new; you want to feel more deeply into your emotions and understand the stuck places to help move past them.
No matter the darkness or drive that is bringing you to therapy, I want to hold that light to show you the way out.
You deserve to feel better and to know how to navigate your life and inner landscape.
You deserve to feel good in your body and in your soul.
“We are always in a perpetual state of being created and creating ourselves”

Welcome!
I am Jennie (she/her), and I am glad you are here…
Starting therapy or starting with someone new is a big step. And clearly you have strong feelings that are pushing you to begin this journey.
In my years as a psychotherapist I have seen many people through different phases of growth. I have abundant patience and compassion for the slow and urgent process of change.
Since 2004, I have worked as a behavioral health and eating disorders therapist. Those years have afforded me an amazing breadth of experience: working with children and teens, families, and individuals, and specializing in anxiety disorders, depression and eating disorders. Moreso, I have been honored to be a part of my clients’ deep and meaningful work. I do not take a client's trust for granted, and feel lucky to be able support such small and big changes.
My style is emotionally-focused, experiential, somatic and insight building. I work from a position of trusting the change that arises from compassion and acceptance. I look to provide a space for each client that focuses on that person’s resilience while holding respect for the difficult emotions too.
My practice is welcoming to people of all backgrounds and identities and my goal is to create a space together where you feel safe and honored as you are.
What I specialize in…
Binge Eating
Are you stuck in a cycle of dieting and bingeing or out of control eating? I understand the anguish of eating disorders and want to help you out of those exhausting patterns. There is a way through using your own body cues and learning to be with the emotions driving the disordered eating. Learn more
16-week focused therapy
Sometimes a designated time frame can be abundant when we dig in to a specific concern or issue. Over the course of 16 weeks, we can work together on building insight and strength around either a newer concern or age-old pattern. Learn more
Anxiety
We are meant to feel some stress and anxiety but as humans, we can be dogged in our beliefs about holding on to anxiety as a protection: if I don’t worry, something bad will happen.
Using the tenets of polyvagal theory, we can help you to build awareness and skills towards making peace with your anxiety.
Supervision
Are you working on your LPC licensure? As a licensed LPC, I provide clinical supervision for licensing candidates.
